Monthly Favourites: April 2014

So, it's the end of the month and you know what that means, a monthly favourites post. This is my first one and I've included some makeup, skincare, fashion and even a bit of food. Let's get started!

The first thing I've been loving this month is the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream (review here). It's a really gorgeous light weight base that just evens everything out. I highly recommend it if you're new to wearing foundation because it does have a decent amount of coverage but feels weightless on the skin.
I've also been enjoying the Naked 3 palette this month. I got it for my birthday and I've just been playing around with all the shadows. It's a really great palette and I'll be reviewing it in depth soon. I've been reaching for the Revlon Photoready Cream Blush in Charmed Enchantment quite a bit this month. It's a beautiful mauvey pink and it's just the perfect everyday shade. You can read more about it here. The last makeup item is the Duo Fiber Face Brush from Real Techniques. It's great if you tend to go heavy handed on powders because it never picks up too much product!

I've got one skincare favourite this month and it's the La Roche Posay Effeclar Duo Plus. I've done a full review including before and after pictures so I won't go into too much detail here. It's a real gem and really does work at reducing blemishes and scars. I absolutely love it!

I have been loving this statement necklace from Accessorize. It really jazzes up a plain outfit and the colours are just beaut. It looks especially great with a simple black tee because it makes all the colours pop!

I love me some good food and this month I've been enjoying hummus. I love having it with pita bread or using it as a spread in a sandwich with some ham and gem lettuce. I'm getting hungry now! I really want to try making my own so if you have any recipes then please let me know in the comments section.

I hope you have enjoyed my very first monthly favourites post. I highly recommend all the products mentioned so definitely check them out.

What have you been loving this month? I'd love to know!

Thanks for reading,
