Tried and Tested: Tanya Burr Lipglosses

When Tanya announced that she was releasing her own lipgloss range, I was very excited. It took me a while to decide on which colours to get but when I saw they were 3 for 2 in Superdrug, I snapped them up!

For those of you who don't know, Tanya Burr is a very successful beauty blogger/Youtuber who also happens to be a makeup artist. She released her own lipgloss and nail polish collection with Eye CANDY earlier this year. You can buy them online at Feel Unique and in Superdrug stores.

These glosses are probably the best glosses I've ever used. They're so pigmented, especially the brighter colours. I'm talking full on opaque in one swipe but you can keep building it up to create an uber glossy lip. They have a doe-foot applicator which I always prefer because they are better at applying colour on the lips. This applicator is quite unique because the sides are flat; I find it gives you more control when building up the colour because it never picks up too much product.

Tanya definitely got the formula right with these glosses. They are in no way sticky but they have a little tack to them meaning they last longer that the average gloss. They're also incredibly smooth and moisturising.

I have three shades; 'Chic,' 'Exotic Island' and 'Vampire Kiss.' 'Chic' was the shade I was most nervous about because it's a nude and I wasn't sure if it would suit me. It does; this shade is like magic, it works on everyone. It's my perfect nude gloss! 'Exotic Island' is a beautiful pink with a shot of purple. It is such a stunning colour and if you keep layering it up, it makes your lips look really full and plump. 'Vampire Kiss' is a gorgeous red; I would say that it's a little darker than your average red but it's not extremely dark to the point where it's intimidating.

I am so impressed by these glosses. They're smooth pigmented, super glossy and smell divine! To me, they smell of strawberry laces, it's intoxicating! I have to remind myself that it's a lip gloss so I don't try and eat it. Oh and did I mention that they're only £6.99!  Yep, you read that right! I don't know how Tanya has managed to create an amazing gloss where others have failed. I absolutely adore them and really want more shades. I can't wait to try more things from her line. Well done Tanya!

Have you tried anything from Tanya Burr Cosmetics?

Thanks for reading,
