My Evening Skincare Routine

I recently did a post on my morning skincare routine so today I thought I'd share my evening routine with you.

As you will see, my evening skincare routine is very similar to my morning one. I've only added in a few products.

If I'm wearing makeup, I like to cleanse twice; once to remove makeup and once to actually cleanse the skin. To remove makeup I use the Una Brennan Rose Cleansing Oil. I take a couple of pumps, massage it all over the face and eyes and remove it with a hot face cloth. I then go in with my regular cleanser, the Una Brennan Rose Creamy Cleanser and cleanse as usual.
I've recently used up my Decleor Toner and replaced with the Nuxe Rose Toner. I pour a little onto a cotton pad and swipe it all over the face. I haven't used this toner for long so I can't review it properly yet. Once I have, I will be doing a full review of it so stay tuned for that.
This is my favourite part of my routine. It's also the part where I typically spend more money. In my opinion, if you have a good serum, you don't have to spend a fortune on a moisturiser. First up is my Estee Lauder Eye Serum Infusion. I've raved about this so many times. It's beautiful and I'd be lost without it. For the face, as I mentioned in my morning skincare routine, I've just started using the Perricone Chia Serum. It's a lightweight serum/oil that just perks my skin up and helps rehydrate it.

Everything Else:
Next up is my beloved Effaclar Duo Plus. I use this every night, even if I'm not breaking out. It basically means that the next morning my pores are smaller and my skin tone is evened out. After I've done that, I use a tiny bit of Tamanu Oil on any scars. This really helps the healing process and it does a great job of fading scars too. I only use it on scars though, it's not something you would use all over the face. Finally, I moisturise with my Cicaplast Baume B5 from La Roche Posay.

That's my evening skincare routine done! I've found that this combination of products works really well to keep my skin hydrated, clear and glowing.

What's your evening skincare routine?

Thanks for reading,
