Old Favourite: Estee Lauder DayWear Sheer Tint Release

Estee Lauder DayWear Sheer Tint Release is an old favourite of mine. I was using this before I discovered the online beauty community and long before I set up this blog. I recently stumbled across an old tube when clearing out my collection and thought it deserved its own post.

Sheer Tint Release is exactly as it sounds. It's very sheer in terms of coverage, offering more of a natural tint and healthy glow. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a full coverage foundation because you won't get that with this. If you're looking for something lightweight and easy for day to day, this is such a great product. I prefer to apply it with fingers to really massage it into the skin. It's the ideal base for Spring and Summer because it lasts all day and doesn't feel heavy or greasy. I also think it would be a good product for mature skin and teen skin. It's £40, but I do think it's worth it. You also don't need to colour match it because it adjusts to your skin tone. I love it when products do that.

If you're after a base that gives you natural glowing skin, then Estee Lauder's DayWear Sheer Tint Release might be perfect for you.

What's your favourite Estee Lauder base?

Thanks for reading,

  1. Sounds like just the thing I need! I love light makeup in the summer and I've tried to find a nice BB cream or tinted moisturiser but I just haven't. The Garnier BB creams are really hyped but the lightest shade is horribly orange on me. Might give this one a try since it adjusts to the skin tone!

    1. This is great for summer. It's so natural and I don't think you'll have any problems with the shade!
