Transitional Makeup: Winter To Spring

Charlotte Tilbury The Vintage Vamp Eyeshadow Palette, Rosie For Autograph Lip Glossy Supermodel Smile, Kiko 108 Lipstick, Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Palette in Golden Bronze

Let's all say a little prayer, because it appears Spring has finally sprung. I feel like I need to tread carefully so as not to scare it away! This winter has really dragged on, and after last weeks Beast from the East, I am so ready for some warmer weather. Today's post is a roundup of my favourite makeup products that take me from winter to spring.

Charlotte Tilbury The Vintage Vamp Eyeshadow Palette:

What I love most about this palette is that the shades are so versatile. The red tones make it very wintery but the purple tones bring it right up to spring. The lighter shimmer really brightens the eyes and looks so pretty in the spring sunshine. I also love the glitter. It's a gorgeous gold, but it's brighter than the one in the Dolce Vita palette. Again, really fresh for spring.

I think this is one of the best cheek palettes at the drugstore. First of all, the formula for all three shades is great. Very soft and easy to blend. Secondly, the combination of shades is just lovely. The blush and highlight are particularly pretty. The blush is a very brightening peachy pink (my favourite kind) and adds a hint of colour to the cheeks. The gold highlight is subtle but it still packs a punch and also happens to be a dupe for the Balm's Mary LouManizer.

Kiko Creamy Lipstick in 108:

This lipstick is fast becoming one of my favourite lipsticks of all time, and I think it's the perfect shade to take you from winter to spring. It has hints of mauve and berry but there's also something, dare I say, peachy about it. It just has this subtle hint of something light which makes it very wearable. The shimmer isn't over the top and doesn't really translate on the lips too much. I actually prefer that as there's nothing worse than a chunky glittery lipstick.

Rosie For Autograph Lip Glossy in Supermodel Smile:

Another very wearable nude peachy pink. I had to include this because quite frankly I love it. It is so wearable and add a nice sheen to the lips.

What's your favourite makeup product for spring?
